About Lisa

​Lisa is the founding attorney of Angelo Law Firm. She combines her several years of experience in insurance litigation and deep understanding of legal issues in technology to help businesses manage and reduce liability. Lisa’s comprehensive approach to tackling cyber liability includes advising companies on data privacy regulation, cyber insurance, and preparing and negotiating technology-related contracts including data processing agreements.

Lisa is Board Certified in Privacy Law by the International Association of Privacy Law Professionals. She also holds two internationally-recognized certifications as an Information Privacy Professional -United States (CIPP/US) and Information Privacy Manager (CIPM). As a certified privacy professional and a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals, Lisa understands privacy program governance and possesses skills necessary to help clients establish, maintain, and manage a privacy program across all stages of its operational life cycle.

Lisa’s passion for cyber law carries throughout her involvement in professional communities. Lisa is an elected council member for the Computer & Technology Section of the State Bar of Texas – a leading source of information for Texas attorneys to learn about the interception of technology and law. She also serves on the council of the Business Law Section of the State Bar of Texas, where she is the Vice Chair of the General Practice Section and a member of the Blockchain Committee. In addition, Lisa proudly serves as Chief of the FBI’s InfraGard Legal Cross Sector Council (CSC) for the Houston Chapter. She regularly speaks at various events and conferences about cyber liability and data privacy and has published numerous articles in law journals.
